I come from Dufftown in the heart of the Whisky Distilling Speyside region. At present I live in Highland Perthshire.
I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and Land Agent at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Further, I have University of Edinburgh certification in Scottish Studies,
as well as Edinburgh University's Scottish Tour Guides course Blue Badge Certification. I am therefore a Blue Badge qualified driver guide and can take up to 6 people in my vehicle.
I became a Scottish Blue Badge guide in 2000. The Scottish Tourist Guides Association is recognised by
Visit Scotland as a professional body.
I have a very good insight to everyday living in the Scottish countryside. I have a wide interest in the history of the many Castles, Country Houses and places of historic importance through out Scotland. I have a wide knowledge of our hills, Lochs , Glens and the wildlife native to this country.
