A visit to Inverness and of course Loch Ness. See Dunrobin Castle, as well as Cawdor Castle made famous in Shakespeare's Macbeth. Also see sites of battles, such as the infamous Culloden Battlefield. Further north to see rare birds nesting in the high cliffs. Visit ancient chambered burial cairns which are 4000-5000 years old. This only scratches the surface of what can be experienced in the North of Scotland.
